Not my shot but considering the 'environment', it could be quite damaging to both equipment & photographer.....:bump:

Am I the only person in the world who thinks that Pigeons are amazing birds. Sure, they poop on things...that's what birds do. Have you ever sat and watched 20 or 30 Pigeons flying in unison, making hard left and right turns as if they are all tied together. Formation flying at its best!

Hey All,

I will say that the Alamo is simply the kewlest most somber national monument I have ever been to. When you visit you take your hat off and speak softly thinking of what Crockett and Travis did there. :medals: Then go see the Lone Star Beer Brewery! :ernae:

theres nowt wrong with pidgions, pretty quite and they never attack you ..... seagulls however !!!!! :tgun2:

I like pigeons - don't know where this aggression against a mostly harmless bird comes from!

A dove or pigeon is a common symbol for peace, after all:rocket:

pigeons.... a few of them and thats good eatin' :jump: seagull is ok to eat as well :icon_lol: and the 'alamo' is still used in some military circles to indicate an area that must be held... sure pigeons can be good birds, just as long as they a) don't 'poop' (yes i'm gonna be polite... for a change) on me b) they don't poop on my car (being a soft-top its a nightmare getting the thing clean) and c)they dont poop on my bike or any of my biking paraphernalia, this includes my helmet, nothing worse than riding along and riding into a bird poop and getting it on the visor, temporarily distracting you... i still say their numbers need to be reduced (pigeons that is..) and therefore i've taken to eating Pigeon twice a week :icon_lol:

At least the photographer was just surrounded by "sky rats" insterad of "tree rats"...that's truly a dangerous situation!

I prefer these:

Oh Stiz I second that comment, I can tolerate pigeons, they don't both me, and my kids always loved feeding them in the park, but those D@M gulls they are diarrhea on wings... They hang around the wharf down by my cottage waiting for the fishermen to come in, and it is like black friday at Walmart, the darn things can dive bomb from afar and leave a $hitstorm in their wake...
