Dawn run to Berlin

Looks pretty nice! Reminds me of my first trip to Berlin with school, we were standing on the Bundestag roof, and a DC-3 circled over the city, quite a nostalgic feeling.

At the technical museum there they have a photo stretch with the history of the airlift. Was higly interesting. Amazing what those pilots, crews and personal did for the city in that time!

The airlift was (ob course) subject of an episode of the epic series about the Cold War.

I'm just amazed that it went on for so long.A remarkable effort by all concerned.

My great uncle was stationed in Berlin during the airlift, he said the Russians used to fire tracers up to try and deter the pilots from flying in, must have been quite a sight!

That is correct YoYo, the screenshots show DC-3 Legends of Flight from Just Flight (developed by Aeroplane Heaven).
