Hello friends,
does anyone know if there exists for FS2004 a freeware scenery for Dax EALAT?
It is the school for the french army and light aircraft pilots

Salut les collègues,
est ce que quelqu' un sait s' il existe une scene en freeware pour Dax EALAT l' École d' Aviation Légère de l' Armée de Terre pour FS2004?

Best regards

Kenavo

Hi Papi,

Good to see you again. There is an FSX version by Stephane Gouzon at Avsim, but I'm not aware of a FS2004 version.

Cheers,
Huub

Good Morning Pete, Huub,

thanks Pete for the advice, I will try to find the site and have a look,
Yes Huub I'm a bit back again.
Still did not find a joystick with 9 pin connector to make it work with the rudder pedals.
I now use as controls an old rc transmitter from one of my rc helicopters.
It was a bit fiddeling to make it work as it should.
Now I have the rudder on the left stick with the throttle and on the right stick the cyclic commands for helis or for planes aileron and elevator, all othe commands via the keyboard. It is certainly not ideal but it permits to flightsim again.
Hou, difficult, lol. For flying it is ok, but all the rest how to do - I forgot a lot.
Best regards

Hallo Pete,
I tried to find the site you indicated me - hummm
I just found a site of french virtual air force.
You must be memeber and to be accepted there is a complete procedure with a controlled flight and and (typical french burotysme)
worse than to get to be a member of a real aero club.
So can you pleasegive me please give me more indications of how to get the scenery for FS2004?
Yours

Good evening Pete,
thank you,
but on my knowledge x-plane and FS2004 use completely othe geographic system.
And I m sure that even as a scenery is structured it be also not compatible
but thanks again.
I hoped that some french flightsimmers here does have something for me

flight control system

Hallo Huub,
my joy of flightsimming again was of short time.
Also after some nice helicopter flights my controls are going crazy again!
And as same as on my "normal" installation with joystick and rudder pedals
the rudder controls via the rc transmitter are going completely eratic.
When I make a new calibration on the rc model simulator things come to go right
and than on flightsim the rudder control gets crazy again.
I wonder if it comes from my flightsim or my pc
Perhaps someone else had these bad experiances and know what happens.
good evening to you
Michael

Hi Papi;

Looks like the Virtual French airforce site has changed completely ;I can no longer log in :(

I don't know if it would be worth asking this person

https://claude-roure.webnode.fr/flight-simulator/

or on the Pilote Virtuel forum

if there is a Dax scenery anywhere? Checking my archived links, an awful lot of the French FS sites have gone dark over past 2 years

good morning Pete,

yes I know Claude Roure,
I had droped a mail to him yesterday
Lokking forward if he will answer me.
I have again problems with my flight controls, and as before it is the rudder control what is to be crazy.
As with different devices its always the rudder controls that are making problems,
I wonder if it is not my pc or flightsime that is corrupted

I did a very basic airport with a small traffic of Nord 3202. The scenery doesn't

This has no claim to 100 percent agreement. For my classic world of the Sixties it would be enough and better than nothing anyway.
