DC-2 questions

Hello.
I know the US Army ordered one XC-47C, and 150 Edo floats found themselves on DC-3's post- war, but were and DC-2's converted with floats or skis?

And another unrelated question: What ever happened to that one XC-47C? It was a nice plane. I'm assuming it got scrapped?

Thanks:friday:

Not saying that there never were any, but I've never heard of a DC-2 on floats. If there were, I'd sure like to know about them!

I doubt it. The Finns had some DC-2's and you would have thought they of all people might have strapped on some skis, bit I can find no record of it !

that's weird. I would have thought the DC-2 would have had them. Guess not...:isadizzy:
