DC Designs Phantom Smoke Effects

I will preface my post by saying that the DC Designs Phantom is one of my favorite aircraft to fly in MSFS (along with the Deimos Intruder).

Although the engine smoke effects are nice at times, I would like to disable it when I choose to, but still be able to turn on all the exterior lights.

Anyone have a solution? Thanks, Go NAVAIR!

Smoke is activated using the Wing Light command, so that it shows to others over multiplayer. Just bind a switch to Wing Light, and you can turn it off on its own.

Well, I am back, revisiting this again. I posted the following on the Discord. Easier than retyping my question: "OK, so I flew the Phantom just briefly today. Only time the smoke was off was when I went to AB. Have tried ALL the light switches to turn off smoke, but no joy. Tried the "I" key, having read somewhere that it would shut off smoke. Nope. Any help?"

As per our Discord, this is correct for the Phantoms - the J79 engines as well as the Rolls Royce Speys were all smokey unless in burner. Only the F-4S had smokeless combustors. The next update will allow you to see those smoke trails across multiplayer, along with fuel tanks and ordnance load-out of other users as well as your own.
