Hi Good People,

As mentioned earlier - the Ford Project Team is adding the Microsoft Default de Havilland 88 Comet to its package of Support Aircraft for the Ford Tri-Motor Project.

A suit of liveries have been created and some extras graciously shared with the project team by JDTinballs from his collection of DH88 repaints.

Edward and I intend to launch these texture packs later next week but for a preview feel free to have a look at this small slideshow:

http://www.ford-tri-motor.net/Slideshows/de_Havilland_88_Comet.html 2mb

17 Repaints by me, 12 Repaints by Jamie and a basic Blank texture set for those that may want to paint their own DH88 Comet aircraft. Repaints will be released individually for those that want to select just a few - and there will be a single download file which will have all of the textures and the complete Microsoft Default DH88 with an enhanced panel set.

Anyway check out the slideshow and see some great liveries that are soon to be released for your flying pleasure.

While your at the Ford Tri-Motor Project Site - don't forget to check out our other currently developing Ford India Project - still bubbling along and growing into a very excellent historical route from Cairo through India right the way down to Brisbane Australia and of course some historical routes within India.

Regards and happy simming.

Garry & Ed,

looking forward to these, they look gorgeous, doesn't hurt that the Comet was probably the single most beautiful aircraft ever built.

Shameless plug time, though not up to Garry's standards, I've been kicked in the butt to finish the paints that have been languishing unfinished on my HD. Many inspired by the fictional paints on this site, http://dh88.airwar1946.nl/

Hope they are okay and maybe suitable for the project, some uploaded now, more to finish and follow.

Jamie

PS. I've updated the 'Reine Astrid' paint to be a little more accurate, just a little fix after finding a new pic.Just download it again if it matters to you.
