Dec 10th update

Note that with this update, all of your Marketplace content, brought over from MSFS 2020, is now disabled by default, and therefore needs to be manually enabled for it to show up again (such as any of the Marketplace aircraft you might have). MSFS 2020 Marketplace scenery addons still seem to be switched off completely/unable to be activated for the time being.

Among a great many other things, this update fixes the displaying of normal maps ("bump maps"), and the spotted MSFS 2020 glass materials, on aircraft imported from MSFS 2020.

For those that use the DLSS Swapper (as I believe everyone should), note you'll need to swap in the latest DLSS file again.
 
So many fixes, yet the ultra-glaring issues in so many FS2020 aircraft of no pilots and dark displays is still not fixed. Checked the Cockspur C162 and it’s still a ghost plane with unreadably dark MFDs. Sigh.

They did a TON of work, but those fixes are kinda critical if they’re going to start offering FS2020 planes in the Marketplace soon.
 
If you have added any aircraft or scenery to your community folder, those all show in the files list now.

Is this still your initial download of the game or are you trying to start the game after the update yesterday? If the latter I guess its the same CDN issue that occurred on the launch - everyone rushing to access the upgraded version?
 
I don't have 24 yet, but reading through the changelog, I saw this:

"Disrespectful markings?" Now I'm wondering just what I missed...
 
6% VFS Activating packages. Can't get past it. I suspect I'll need to do a full uninstall and start over. This whole thing is El sucko. I've seen that deer in the woods so many times now, we name him Buck. Buck Naked. Called the fashion police on the Pink Leasuresuit guy.

Go through your files list and enable them. Marketplace/My Library/ enable/disable /Disabled Only All 2020MP files, including scenery, that are compatible have been disabled in the update.

You're going to do a lot of scrolling to get everything back, as it keeps jumping around. You will have to restart the sim, and it will take a little while to reload. I did have to restart it once, at about 56%, that may have been my file quantity. 2nd reload took about 6 minutes. After all is said and done, it seems to load a little quicker this morning.

You will also find non mrketplace files listed in your "My Files" list now, if you have any in your community folder.
 
I'm in! Had to once again delete the ms limitless folder, then restart. This means updating all of my previous settings, but at least I am in. Half Dome never looked better.

So if something is marked as "Disabled" we loose access to it? Almost all my scenery is disabled.
