DFS 230 assault glider

SOH Staff
With Rami making prodigious efforts to re-create The Battle of France I thought I'd make a small contribution by giving the glider which attacked the forts at Eben Emael an overhaul - I was helped in this by UncleTgt who provided two completely new textures plus refinements to air and panel files. He also created new object files for mission use. Here's some pics to give the flavour of it

I will be uploading any minute now and ask Rami to remove old version from library

DFS 230 assault glider.zip

A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category CFS 2 Aircraft - German

Description: German infantry glider used on practically all fronts during the war - most spectacularly in the attack on the Belgian forts at Eben Emael, the attack on Crete and the rescue of Mussolini from the hotel on the Gran Sasso where he was being held prisoner. Less glamourously they were also used for resupply on the Eastern front including Stalingrad and Budapest. They were also used in anti-partisan operations in Southern France and Yugoslavia.
