Yea. I likes This!!
They have on of these here in the Air Force Museum looked at it last summer..
The shot is in American Camo painted one we have here...
I know these were used by several nations during the war

I need some operational background for the missions..
ANY links will be Most welcomed..

And she flies well on one engine too..:isadizzy:
A nice American camo skin would be nice too..Hint! Hint!! :applause:

Many Thanks for releasing this..
And there is Much rejoicing!

In miltary serice they were used as communication (Dominie II) and wirless training aircraft (Dominie I) primarily. The USAAF had the Dominie II.

A few, the DH89M, were fitted with a forward firing mg in the cockpit and another in a ring on top of the fuselage behing the cabin door. They were used operationally by the Spanish in Morocco in 1936 - don't have any more detail than that I'm afraid Owen.

Thanks for this bit of info, I am having fun with this beauty..
She flys well on one engine, well sometimes..
Landings are a different story..:icon_lol:

Hmmm, They were used by both sides in the Spanish Civil War. I could do some skins for that era if there's an interest.

I enjoy flying the old "civilian " birds from the 30's and this would be a nice plane to play with..
Thanks very much..
