Hey guys,

As I'm wrapping up the Mediterranean reworks, I just want to pass along that I'm going to take a week or so and take it easy in the CFS2 world, at least in terms of Mission Building. I'll tweak the Desert Air Force missions for Italy and work out the bugs that Kdriver and Shadow Wolf informed me of, but otherwise I won't work on anything else.

I've got some testing to do...

1) Shessi has a multi-lod Wellington Mk. X conversion he would like me to test...which I am drooling over, not even having flown it yet!

2) Kelti sent me some GSL scenery in Northern Italy (The Po River Valley) for testing, because he's interested in a campaign there.

3) I have a promise to keep to Talon. I told him that if he made the Marine Corps Aces Campaign, I would fly it. So, I'm off to the Solomons. I know I'll get my a** chewed up, but that's part of the fun! It will be nice just to fly something, for once.

So, hopefully toward the end of the month, I'll be back either in the Balkans or in England, depending on which interests me more at the moment.

P.S. - Achim, this does not apply to testing bases or updated bitmaps in North Afrika.

Cheers,

Rami,

That matches my own interests at the moment. I just started reading "The First Team" by John Lundstrom.

A great book, as is his sequel on Guadalcanal. And for one of the best books I have ever picked up, Lundstrom's "Black Shoe Admiral" about Jack Fletcher. He really puts the transition from the gun club to carriers and the learning curve our navy went through in perspective.
