Ferry, I finally sorted out all my control niggles, mapped the handbrake to the L/H paddle and views to the R/H one.
Really enjoy driving from the inside view, this is one very tactile 'game' (it's not a sim but then again ....:d) and I can get a much better feel for the car.
That muddy water is a pain but it is part of the realism, and along with manual gear changes in the more difficult modes makes for a great way of losing several hours at a time ..........:jump:
Check out the speed in MPH! Love the Utah stages.

Wombat, I unlocked that open wheeler thingy yesterday but haven't had a chance to test it. I still like the game though the tracks are beginning to show their lack of variation. The rally stages should be longer too, IMHO. My favourite part of the game, together with the trailblazer and Rallycross.
I've mapped a button on the wheel for the hand brake and one on the stick to change views. The paddles I use to shift. I found I can use the gated shifter but with the heavy force feedback on I prefer to keep both hands on the wheel.

I agree about the 'Game' repetition of the 'tracks', and I really prefer the long Rally stages which are only 4 odd miles anyway.....:173go1:
Finally discovered the Metro, Escort RS1800, Dakar Pajero, Subaru Legacy RS and the Ford RS200, but I can't get the Metro or the RS200 out of Rallycross and into a Rally ........... there must be a way!!!!

You're right about shifting with the clutch and stick, it's busier than a one armed paper hanger in a high wind, especially with full FFB and no asisted steering, but it makes it more of a challenge.
:jump:

Have you tried time trail? You can try any class/vehicle on any track that way, though I'm not sure if you can use the bonus cars.
Doing the LA rally sprint in a trailblazer car is fun, especially the big jump.. :engel016:

It works Ferry.
That RS200 is quite an evil little beast let loose on gravel!!
I handbrake turned myself right into this one.
