Display pop out control?

I was able to use the "Spacedesk" app to connect my Chromebook to my computer to use as an additional monitor. However, I've been unable to figure out how to pop out a display in order to drag it over to the Chromebook. Supposedly, you hover your mouse over an appropriate compatible display (e.g., G1000) keyboard, then hit the right "Alt" key (right of space bar), a magnifying glass symbol is supposed to show up, then you left click/drag the popped out panel over. However, it's not working for me. Anyone have any insight on this?

Move your mouse over the screen, then hold the right Alt key. The mouse should changed to a "+" zoom icon. Click the panel and it will open a new window that you can move to another screen. Be aware that it's only the panel - you don't get the bezel to go with it. So if it's not a touch screen, you won't have any interactability.

Thanks Tom, that's what I've been trying. For whatever reason it's not working, and I've tried it with numerous different aircraft/displays. I have seen some posts elsewhere that it's not working for others either. Very strange, however, I can live without it.

Well, it appears nothing is ever easy. Spacedesk connection is just too intermittent/unreliable. I might try again after MSFS2024 is out, but for now I'm abandoning the effort.
