• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Do you ever keep track of your kills?

:salute:Many years ago I had an excel sheet in which I meticulously kept track of my kills in quick combat, missions and campaigns. Lots of clumns, with date, type of myt a/c and enemy a/c, how many down, etc, and what sim ( had some other comba sims going too).

Now I have given up--do not care anymore.

But the image attached has given me an idea--namely to paint kill marks on some a/c of cfs2, provided the bitmaps are easy to paint on.

:medals:The photo is Southwestern Front, 1942 and while the mechanic is busy with the engine, the airman is using a mask for the stars. Not the long brush and lack of spray can or gun.... and how young the painter looks.

They look Russian in features but that would mean they shot down their own a/c.

It looks line a Bf109 to me, but I am not sure....

Cheers,

Nick:mixedsmi:
