First, a huge thanks for releasing this. Somehow, I missed out on this lovely gem.

Curious to know if any mods have been made for this - repaints, cfg upgrades, etc. Searched and couldn't find any .... :kilroy:

Many thanks again!

So far I have tried to use the passwords on these planes. None of them work. I very carefully Copy and Paste the passwords. So far six airplanes with no results.
I give up.

Helldiver

Put your cursor on the Click here to get..... bit it should turn red just click and thats it, it will download

Helldiver, when I copied the passwords, I got an extra space at the end. This could be causing your problem.

Forget copying - the only way I could get it to work is just typing the 6 characters - done in a second and you can carry on.

I always liked the look of this plane. For such an old model it looks real good.

There is an alternative panel.cfg for B58 gauges in the file. You have to download the gauges from Flightsim. I like them more than the stock ones. There is 1 Ukmil paint to make it look like a F-100D. It has more detail than the stock paints. I wish there were detailed paints like that for the F-100C

So how do you get the gauges? I followed the directions and searched on the files listed in the directions but nothing came up.

LouP

LouP, you need the file: fsdb58-2.zip from Flightsim. In that zipfile is another zipfile which is called: FSD_B58gauges.zip.

Mine has the fuzzie wuzzies.... Guess I've gotta go in with DXTbmp and remove all the mipmaps...

Brian
I've got a set of batch file that will work with Imagetool to remove or add MIPs and convert between different formats. If you want them, I can post them here.

Instructions: Place a copy of Imagetool (from any of several MS SDK's) into the texture folder you want to convert. Place a copy of the appropriate batch file there with it. Double-click the batch and let it run.

What he said...and, which sound file is best?

For my larger military jets, I like using a sound package I found on Flightsim.com for the F-4 Phantom. It is called sound_f4.zip. Sounds nice. Don't worry about it being a twin engine sound pack...the sim will only use engine 1 for the Super Sabre.

I guess that's how to do it, copy the passwords and hand print it. The problem is with a stroke I can't even remember what I had for breakfast.
Now what do I do about all the ones I missed?

Tom, I tried typing in the password for the F-100 and it worked just fine,
How can I get the past issues that the password didn't work?
