Eastern Airlines NC14970 is a DC-2. She flies over her home base Miami, Florida in 1939.
The DC-2 cut the flying time from New York to Miami to 8 hours and was an instant success. The Great Silver Fleet name was used until after WWII. My repaint shows her in her glory days. Thanks to Manfred Jahn for his great model!
