DPC Korea Splash Screen on launch then Nothing

Hey all!

Just installed Dogpatch's Korea mod from the links here at the forum...

Before you ask... yes I have a CFS3 Virgin Install patched to 3.1a that I switched to before beginning install.

Firstly I installed the base mod... worked a treat... all directories perfectly set in installs to make they are correct etc. and booted up just great, changed the first airfield for quick combat and it all worked!

Then I installed the first patch being careful to follow instructions... Made sure the config was in safe mode and everything, but when I booted it it just showed the splash screen then the splash screen disappeared. Cannot get any further.

Tried also installing the third patch on top of it, but same problem.

Weird, right? Wonder if anyone else has had this issue, and hope there is a quick fix!

Many thanks for any replies!

All the best,

Jack

UPDATE - I solved the issue... (call me out for being dumb :p87:)

It was to do with my compatibility settings... (I'm on windows 10 64 bit...) Changed it to XP Service Pack 2 in Properties>Compatibility and it's working a treat :)

Compatibility settings are usually the first thing I check, however since I can run ETO in standard mode, along with vanilla CFS3, I didn't think this would be any different... turns out I was in mistake.

I won't delete this thread, instead I'll leave it here in-case anyone googles the same thing in future and needs a quick solution!
