    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Drivers going into the NASCAR Hall of Fame

They just announced the new list of guys going into the Hall of Fame!

Drivers David Pearson, Bobby Allison, Lee Petty and Ned Jarrett along with team owner Bud Moore will be welcomed into the hall in a ceremony slated for Monday night.

Congrats to this new group of drivers and owners!
 
Pearson should have been in the first group to go in. Only reason he never won more than three titles is he started picking the races he wanted to run to help his son, Larry, start a driving career. Best race driver of all of them in his day.

I agree with the rest, in fact I'm surprised that David Pearson, Bobby Allison, Ned Jarrett and Bud Moore are only now included.
