SOH-CM-2024
Just reinstalled this great A-7 but i remember'd someone re-doing the airfile and posting it as an attachment, but it must have been before the last SOH crash as i cant find it anyware, would anyone be willing to post it again as it sure makes this bird smoother to fly,
many thanks, cheers ian

Just change txt to air and you're ready to go!

I have also done a bunch of repaints for members that you will find in the download section. I was attached to VA-195 from 80 to 84. we were flying the A-7E then.

Thanks Warhawk, got the repaints saved on disk and very fine they are :wavey:, i just forgot to save the airfile.
thanks for the speedy reply, cheers ian

Always a pleasure to help out a fellow SLUF fan. If you want a repaint that I haven't done, feel free to PM a request.

Do you have any info on the scheme used by the Ohio Air National Guard on their A-7s in the 80s and early 90s? I grew up in South Central Ohio, and spent many an hour laying in the back yard watching the A-7s zip back and forth across the sky. One afternoon, while playing with my niece and nephews in the back yard, 3 A-7s put on an impromptu "air show" over our house....for nearly an hour they did mock dogfights, low level flybys, close quarters manuevers, some really neat high G turns and climbs. When they were done, the flew in a V formation over the house, low and slow, and waggled their wings at the kids...who loved every minute of the show as much as I did.

I would love to have an Ohio ANG A-7 to fly around in, but have been unable to find any info on how the planes looked.

Oh, I grabbed your skins for the Aris SLUF and will make sure they get well abused...I mean well used.

I belive Sean Doran did some repaints in AF and AG colors although probably not Ohio ag, theres also some nice Greek and Portuese skins worth tracking down too, but i think SLUF's look best in Navy colors.
cheers ian

The airforce flew the A-7D model, but the only visual difference is that there is no more IFR probe on the starboard side....it was mounted behind the cockpit in the center. These were camo versions...if Sean does not volunteer, then I will give it a go.
