DSB/Iris Simulations S-3 Vikiing repaints.....

There have been quite a few repaints for the DSB/Iris Simulations S-3 Viking recently. Although I do have it ported to FSX, I have not attempted installing any of these repaints. Has anyone here tried doing so? And I thought I saw a post or file listed recently that modified the VC, but can't find it now...... Thanks. NC

Finally got it downloaded and installed in FSX. The VC has been worked over, might try to see if anyone has done an update or might take a shot at it myself with other DSB/Iris gauges. Next check is out to the boat.

Scroll down to about the middle of the page, there should have been more paints for this bird as it was a blast to fly in FS9. Also get the Real Deal sound pack for the A-10 at AVSIM, it will be in the FS9 sounds library, as it gives the S-3 that "War Hoover" sound.
 
I mentioned to IRIS that I'd love to see them revisit the S-3 and bring it up to today's quality release with an actual VC that doesn't make you want to vomit. I really would love to see them give it the "Mudhen" treatment.

Even without a rework, it's a really nice visual model outside. Antonio Diaz has breathed new life into it with his awesome repaints, and I was glad to see him doing it! My favorite is still his VX-30 CAG bird from NBVC Pt Mugu 'Bloodhound 700'. Great representation of that aircraft.

If anyone truely does have a VC alternative, I'd love to know. In the meantime, since it's semi-related... check out my video flying Bloodhound 700 around in a mock demo. :)
