Dual Seat FSX Spitfire....

Hi there I have downloaded John Terrell's repaint of G-CCCA, and am struggling to get it to work on the freeware model, (Why they didn't just upload the model from Mid-war series is a mystery to me:confused:). So far I have aligned the wings and fuselage correctly, but am losing with the underside...which remains Irish green... does any one have any suggestions or time to help out, as I would love to fly favourite aircraft on FSX. I've even tried to do a little sreen shot art with what i've got....

Hi Rowdy,

The twin-seat model that is freeware is based on the model we produced for Historic Flying Limited. This is different to the one found in the Mid-War series as it contained more detail and was differently modeled and mapped.

If you leave it with me I will find the maps and let you know what goes where. Anything in particular you cannot find?:engel016:

Yes please,... I have succesfully mapped the top side of the wings into place and the fuselage...what i need to do now is to get the tail done right, as it appears to be mirrored in the freeware version, so this may be I'll have to do with a plain grey tail. The underside of the wings I have also mapped, but not the greatest accuracy I do admit, so the gun covers do not meet.... but i'm not too worried about that. The thing is that there's still loads of "bits" of irish green still showing up all over the underside and next to the cockpit there's still a green sign that says
"Walkway forward".... i will post a screenshot of how far I.ve got to....
