Maybe not too dumb. How can someone adjust the power/thrust settings on a helicopter? Props have thrust and power options, jets have thrust and static thrust options, but I cannot find what affects a helicopter. They are typically designated helo-turbine. I always thought under [general engine data], the designation told the sim where to look for information. Like for 0=Piston, 1=Jet, 2=None, 3=Helo-Turbine, 4=Rocket, 5=Turboprop, if 5 was selected then an entry such as [turboprop_engine] power_scalar=0.9 would be found and could be adjusted with some change in performance. I just don't get any change no matter what I try. It's a bit frustrating when an MD500 wallows around and a Cobra jerks to the sky.
