This morning I get 'Bandwidth exceeded' error blaming the server. Wonder if it depends on where you approach the site from?

I'm just trying to get the config file for Marcel Post's Martins Air repaint of the default DC-3. Still have the textures, but lost all my configs recently. It doesn't seem to be available anywhere else!

There is not much in the config file. Below the entry as I have it.
BTW I get the same "bandwith exceeded" message when I go to DutchFS.com.

Here it is at the '60s Schiphol, cheekily occupying a KLM parking space. MAC have their own corner he should start from, but still.

Managed to get back into Dutch fs this weekend, but that particular repaint by Marcel Post is no longer downloadable there (or anywhere). Some mirror image livery is a pity here...

When I reloaded fs9 recently the hard drive remembered a lot, though all addon scenery has had to be reactivated.

Must have lost the DC-3 configs (about 50 of them) when I removed default AI, putting Cal Classic and other retro AI back, though all DC-3 textures remained OK, it reverted to the original config file. Luckily I'd kept most of the original downloads in an Unzipped file, enabling reconstruction, but the MAC one was lost.

A good view of the new Terminal under construction back in '63.

There is also a Martins Air repaint for the MAAM Sim payware DC-3/C-47, but a lot of nice freeware liveries can be put on the default MS one & you can also improve it with smoke effects & stuff.

Hi Ralf, i dont know if your aware but you can lose the stock MS Schiphol background image by unchecking the Amsterdam Ariel photo in Settings/scenery library drop down list, it make the '60s Schiphol look even better.

Never knew that about the default scenery Aerial photo - presumably it goes for other big airports you retro?

Hi Ralf,

Yes, we usually tell you to deactivate the Aerial Photo layer, unless it is necessary for other things (like New York, which defines the shape of the islands). In that case we provided modified photo textures for KIDL.
