Ben Spies put in a stellar performance to win the Dutch MotoGP on Saturday.
Not a great race as Assen claimed the usual number of crashers in the first two laps but Ben was gone by then and never looked in doubt, Casey obviously deciding to take a comfortable P2 and the points knowing he was way ahead of Lorenzo.
A very popular win in the paddock and with the MotoGP crowd.
The Yamaha looked super in the original team red and black on white colours dating back 50 years.

While the MotoGP was rather dreary (and it was with half the field out!) the 125 and Moto2 rounds were vintage, with 16 year old Maverick Vinales taking another 125 win for the 'Blue Sens by Paris Hilton' team........................:applause:
Great ride by Anthony West, hauled that dog of an MZ up from 20th on the grid to a 5th place finish.

I wonder if Simoncelli will finish a race this year without falling off....did Stoner a big favour, but made it more boring.
