Duxford Autumn air day visit

Just back from the end of season air display at Duxford, two highlights for me where newly restored Hawker Tempest G-TEMT / PR533 and a Lockheed Electra thats resident at Dux which i didnt know about. No surprise's in the display, ive seen most before but still lovely to see, here's a taster for you.

Nice pictures Ian. There are many reasons why I don't want to swap country with you, but when I see these pictures, I envy you :biggrin-new:

The Electra Junior is a very historic aircraft, it was the one flown by Sidney Cotton is his clandestine recce ops before the outbreak of war. I thought it was based at Sywell (busy bunnies up there) but maybe it moved. Whatever, a gorgeous aircraft.
