Dvd Region?

Hi, I couldn't find a previous thread on this, so here goes:

I am using a European laptop in Australia. Therefore my concern is that if I buy CFS3 it will need Australian Dvd region which is different from Europe and would be a big problem.

I'm hoping this won't be an issue and that the Dvd is not region-specific, but could anyone please confirm this? Thanks.

DvD regions only apply to movies, not software, thankfully.
