DX 10 question and graphics card work load questions .

I read on another forum (just by accident) a post where there is a way to run DX10 without the preview in the game being checked . The post was several months old, and never specified how to do it . I did a google but never found what I was looking for .

It also had (not much said) how you can make the video card do more work (balance out cpu/gpu work load . This got my attention as my cpu load is 100% and the gpu is 35% .
