Dx10 and Port-Overs

With the demise of Aces and the impending FsXI cancelled I've gone back to Dx9c. The new drivers seem improved enough that Dx9 seems as good performance wise as Dx10 was on my machine so PARTY TIME:costumes:

Ju52, Ford Trimotor...etc back in FsX.

Roger,

You are not alone, with the tips on the here I have finally managed to get FSX and DX9 to run smoothly. Mind you I do sometimes relapse just to see the cockpit shadows etc again.

Now that does bring up a question, will developers continue to include the DX10 goodies or are they a thing of the past?

Guess my pc was powerful enough from the get-go. Almost always can get over 20 fps with port overs, except in very dense scenery areas. I generally use fsx planes most, but keep a large fs9 fleet just to admire some of the old planes.

Which drivers are you refering to? I am stuck with DX10 due to performance issues too. Are they Nvidia drivers?
