EADS 109 repaint anyware

I went to the Biggin Hill festival of flight yesterday, a fine day out but i didn't take many pics, the weather was very dull, although improved during the day, and many of the aircraft were cancelled, including the Blenheim, which i was really looking forward to. One act that did appear was the EADS ME109 that made a very rare appearance in the UK that looked good on the ground and flew a great routine in the air, but it did get me thinking, was there a repaint out there for the Flight Replica's 109 out there and could anyone point me in the right direction if there is.

Oh, and another star of the show for me was this wonderful Cessna in the static park that ive never seen before, im not really a fan of GA stuff, but that could change :jump:

Ian, I did make a repaint for the old Flight Replicas FS2004 G-model of "Red 7" a long time ago (at this time it had only had one accident): http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforu...1-Messerschmitt-Bf-109G-4-quot-Red-7-quot-zip

"Red 7" has had a tremendous string of bad luck. It first flew in 2004 following a lengthy restoration/conversion to Bf-109G-4 standard, but then was significantly damaged in a landing accident in 2005. Following a another rebuild, it flew again in 2008, but then just two weeks later it had to make a wheels-up landing after one of its landing gear would not lock down. After more repairs it flew again in 2009, but in 2013, after experiencing engine problems at an airshow, it was force-landed in a field. After repairs, the aircraft has been flying again since late last summer.

"Red 7" is also booked for this year's Flying Legends airshow, held at Duxford, which is now just less than a month away! This year's lineup is one of the best, if not the best, I have ever seen for Flying Legends, in all of the years it has ran.

Waiting/hoping for a future FSX-native G-model from Mike, and I can make a new version of the repaint (and some other G's that will be flying soon).
 
That's a great bit of film John and thanks very much for posting it. Having bought FlyPast a few months ago to read John Romains article on flying the 109 and how very easily it will bite you on take off if you're not paying attention, I noted how much LH stick the pilot was putting in. In the air.. he was almost hands off!! Hard work on the flaps too!! That footage brings home just how small the 109's cockpit is. Tight is an understatement.
