Already on simviation with avsim and flightsim in due time. This is a new installation, so the old install needs to be cleared before installing the new one. Has numerous bug fixes, improved materials and added some cool effects. Enjoy:ernaehrung004:

Does this V1.1 have an uninstaller and do the Flight Dynamics files have to be manually installed?

I'm not sure about an uninstaller. I pointed the install to the main FSX directory and it installed to a folder inside the root called Microsoft Flight Simulator X.. not quite what I was expecting. There ARE separate FD folders but it would seem you don't need them if you have the HS model installed as the configs for the other versions point to this. Considering they all use the one airfile (unless you choose otherwise).. they fly completely differently. The HS model flies nice and stable.. dead easy to hover.. the LS is the opposite and the Float is somewhere inbetween. Didn't try the TV model.

I'm a bit confused about some of the air files supplied with the V1.1 helo.

In the JetRanger III HS folder I have two air files

Bell_206B_JetRanger.air
Bell_206B_JetRanger_realistic.air

The other textures do not have the two air files, just the one.

Question is what is the Bell_206B_JetRanger_realistic.air file for and why didn't the other textures not have this air file?
 
I noted that too gray eagle. I guess it's there if you want to liven the FD up from the default. In the sim=line.. substitute the current one for the 'realistic' one and see what happens!!:)

There is no uninstaller. I extracted to a temp folder i created and here is how the folders look like (see pic). The important file is the 'Readme' txt file. After that everything becomes clear (as mud?). I flew the Floats (using the 'easy' air file) and it handled good.

My thanks to Eurostar and others who worked on this. I missed this thread but it just so happens I was recently looking for a Native Bell 206 which was better than the default and stumbled upon this. Always liked the Jetranger and this model far exceeded my expectations. The way the rotor head is done is particularly great. Thanks again.

I am considering on doing additional models down the road like utility, police, crop sprayer, etc. Just need to find the time to this as I still have the current lineup to finish first:wavey:
 
A Police model would be superb Eurostar... do let us know if you manage to find the time to get that done.
