SOH-CM-2023
The Embraer EMB120 Brasilia. The package has been uploaded to avsim, simviation and flightsim.com

For those that has painted the FS2004 version will be glad to know the original textures made for that sim will fit the FSX model.

As my second gmax project and my first true FSX native release, I feel proud of this release. Not only because I've learned alot, but its a sampler of whats coming later in the near future (Bell 222/230/430) and an array of new airplanes and helicopters.

Enjoy:ernae:

Thank you, freeware projects in FSX are getting as rare as 'hens teeth' and it is cause for celebration when we get new aircraft to try, without having to dig deep into our ever shrinking wallets!:salute:

This GREAT new for me especially.

like I said before, this bird is my all time favorite TB. Thank you!!!!!

Why is it that FSX Freeware aircarft are so few? I can only assume they're much harder to produce (or produce well) in FSX than than they are/were for FS9?

EDIT: Ha! just seen the other thread on just that subject...

I read in the PDF that the FDE is aliased to a king air plane. Does the original package worked that way too? The panel and the sounds can be aliased to the original package. But, what about the FDE?

Thanks for this great job! :salute:

EBM120

Good day ,

Its not often a freeware package comes along that ticks the box in all the important places ..... until now !!

Hats off to you sir for a job well done, it was apparent from the first screenshots that we have a winner about to leave the hanger.

Cheers

:jump::jump:Yippee the Aerocaribbean paint works. That is one less paint on my Fs9 Hanger and transferred to FSX hanger. Thank you Eurostar and team.

There is already a "FSX-native" EMB-120 panel out there, so that'd be one step towards a VC.
But seeing how cluttered the real cockpit is, it's quite of a turnoff for putting it in as a quickly modeled, textured and animated side project.

...without having to dig deep into our ever shrinking wallets!:salute:

Solution: Don't dig at all and cherish the free stuff a bit more, often and longer.

How to add VC?

Does not come with a functional VC. The FS2004 version of the EMB120 had this similar setup, as well as all of Erick's other models. Like I stated above, it is my second gmax project...I am testing the waters to see how well I can do with gmax and flightsim designing.

Thank you, its a great looking model, congratulations and do think of payware in the future since you are good!!!!!

Great model!

Ran into one little oddity when I merged the CRJ VC into the model. The VC completely disappears when banking and panning the view around. Never seen this behavior before. Any ideas?

Hi guys,
I'm a bit stuck..........I was trying to merge the default beech kingair vc to the 120 just not sure what to do with the model entries. If someone could point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it. Its a fantastic model but I do miss the vc. ps I have pasted in the default panel folder from the kingair.

Thanks in advance,

Harry:jump:

Probably the easiest way to do it would be to copy the King Air's VC model to the same folder as the 120's external model is in. Then open the model.cfg file and replace what ever follows after "interior" entry with the interior model you want leaving off the .mdl tag. Remember to copy over your VC textures.

Also, has anyone tried the old repaints with the updated model? The mapping looks the same but I wont be able to confirm until after the holidays.
