Eagle rotorsoft MD-500 installer issue...

Hi everybody,

for relaxation, I downloaded the Eagle Rotorcraft Simulations MD-500 (former Nemeth helicopter...) from AVSIM, but got an installer issue: When trying to open the setup.exe, nothing happens. Does anybody make the same experience?
 
Can you post the name of the zip file you're using,, and where you got it?
I've got a number of MD500s, so I need to know which one you're working with.

While Pat is still snoring into his pillow, I tried it and it was fine! I had it install to a folder of my own creation.

Hmm - strange. When I click the installer, nothing happens. I am using Firefox, but everything seems to be downloaded properly.

Are you "double-clicking" the .exe and is it on your desktop and not still in the .zip file?

Yap, doubleclicking and unzipped.
Just did some tests with some other downloads, and noticed that some work and some don't. So several programme installer run fine (OBS Studio, Photoscape, Firefox...), others like Payloadmanager or especially NDERSMD500V10.exe not. No matter if I run as admin or replace the installer name by installer.exe or setup.exe. Weird - just thought it was only a MD-500 issue, now I furthermore get problems with some other important downloads :banghead: . No idea, what's the culprit...maybe a Win10 gift....
 
After no possible answers to my problem found at Google, I did a deeper look into the .exe properties. There I noticed the option "clearance" and clicked it. Afterwards, the installer starts immediately :applause:

Didn't know that this works...Anyway, now I am happy.
