• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Early morning circuit flying in Bristol

A good friend of mine (doctor by profession) is moving to Cardiff to work for three months at a local clinic. He is also doing his PPL course but is close to finishing. He is thinking of doing some flights while there as he has an English instructor friend at a flight school in Bristol. So I thought of showing him how it would be to take off early morning with the typical English fog and do a circuit with a Piper Cherokee. the plane is by Carenado and the airport is by UK 2000 VFR combined with UTX Europe. DX10 preview is runing

I tried to do the circuit as typical as possible but kept it tight so as not to lose the runway in the fog. The video is low res so a lot of detail is lost but I think that you can still see the birds jut after take off when I look to the port side.
