This is my second in a line of 20 aircraft that appeared on the 1997 US Commemorative Stamp of 1997, an early US Navy Jenny Trainer.
It was difficult to get the US roundel on the inside of the upper wing, as the insignia are generally represented by a separate decal texture and that places the roundel on the outer edge of the upper wing.
I had to apply a black Alpha to the decal texture's large roundel to make it invisible and add my roundel on the main texture. Concessions had to be made, I had to place my roundel further toward the center than I would have like, but with the GMax texture, the roundels are mirrored and one more tick to the left caused a small portion of the roundel to show on the outer edge of the upper wing.
I wanted to make the wheel hubs solid and paint them Yellow, but that could not be done, the textures are keyed to the spokes only. Even when I painted the spokes yellow, I found that the same texture was keyed to the engine tappets! Arrrg! I ended up using the weathered texture cowling found in the US Army Jenny, it looked better than the burnished steel one for the one I wanted.

Hope you like, it's the best I could do with what i had to do with.
