I've a question for anyone experienced with effects files. I've been experimenting with effects for a few days. It's interesting what can be done with them.
I've yet to figure out how to attach an effect to turbine blades, where when, they (the effects) are visible only when the blades are spinning.
Example
IE: At start-up you see them/At shutdown you don't.
I've yet to figure it out. And the SDK, unless I missed it says noting about this type of usage.
The question; How is this accomplished?
I read a topic over at FSdeveloper, where Bill Leaming and some others talk of a gauge that operates stuff like this.
The question; Is this the only way?
I'll likely go back over to fsdeveloper and do some more digging in hopes of the answer. I thought I'd ask here first.
