• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

  • Server side Maintenance is done. We still have an update to the forum software to run but that one will have to wait for a better time.

am I nuts (probably).....but OFF cracked the empty AI plane thing....AIs flying around w/ no pilot....it doesn't happen in OFF...a CFS 3 mod.....so we shouldn't have it here either. No doubt I've missed something but is there a mods to clean this up or did I miss it....the cross-over should work both ways?
 
If it isn't built into the model, then it won't show. Not that it's hard, adding a node named pilot0 to the external model and orienting it correctly is all that's needed. But the modeller must remember to do it!
 
thanks H.....guess all the models in off were altered.....never tinkered with model files before, changed plenty of xdp's on planes.....what's the model altering program called...it that the G-max thingie with the mongo steep learning curve? Maybe it's time to expand my horizons.....
 
gmax? That's the one. Months of fun and headbanging, but so satisfying to build something realistic!
