ENB, Lighting, Shaders. Are there any mods?

I've asked about this way back. A search didn't find it. So here goes.

Are there any ENB, lighting, or shaders available that will tone things down as if wearing sun glasses. That's about the only thing I do not like about P3D. Everything seems so bright.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

That's a good question, and one I do not have an answer to. My apologies.

I would check with the forums at Prepar3D and see if they have an answer. I am sure 'someone' has developed something for P3D concerning this.

You might also google shaders for P3D and see what comes up. I wonder also if you can 'carefully' experiment with shaders designed for FSX?

Prepar3D has been out long enough that I would think the subject would have come up at some point. I'm sure I'm not the only one to think things are (overall) too bright. I tried searching Google and came up
with topics relative to FSX and either importing or exporting from one to the other. Mainly people seemed to want P3D's shaders in FSX. So in reality I found nothing specific to Prepar3D. Likely my search method was wrong.

As far as experimenting goes, I'd rather not. I would have thought there would have been something developed by now as there was for FSX like the "Shade" program. But that developer seems to have other priorities. Which is understandable to an extent.

I'll check the forums.

Thanks for the response, Bill.

You might try an older freeware program called Gamma Panel. It isn't listed as being for Prepar3D, but it works with it. I've been playing with it for a couple of weeks now and you can make a lot of adjustments during gameplay or easily switch back to default, on rare occasions I will get a CTD, but you can really adjust brightness, contrast and color tone easily

Seems I'm coming up empty handed in my search efforts of the OP. Apparently there is nothing. Yet.

Gamma Panel gives some flexibility by direct tuning of the monitor. Not exactly what I was looking for, but a handy program. It works rather nicely.
I'm going to try this more over the weekend.
