Engine fire.

Has anyone ever used the malfunction "Engine fire" in a mission. I attempted to use it and it would not work. Seems like I used on an AI plane once and it did work. This time I tried on a player aircraft and no luck. Any one have any luck with this? :cost1: Blondi

Yes, I have used it successfully in my old Leyte Gulf Fictional mission as a triggered result of a carrier being hit. When the carrier is hit, any aircraft flights that "took off" up to 30 seconds prior will develop an engine fire, knocking out 50% or more of the flight. It works fine in that mission.

Blondi,

I also used it for a couple of Me-163 "Komet" missions.

Thank you all.I found what was causing my problem.I had the fire happening on a similarly named aircraft. Not the one I wanted it to happen on.It worked great once I renamed the Aircraft in Mission Builder.Again thanks.Blondi:cost1:
