• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Epic OFF Desctop

Olham54

The Bordeaux-Red Baron
Today, I made this desctop, which is NOT a screenshot only (so don't ask, why you've never got such a scene in P2) but rather a "collage". The pic consists of a high resolution screenshot, plus three planes "cut" into it. Then I painted the smoke and did some shading and colour changes. Finally, I had to eliminate the "pixeling" (?) in some parts, and ready it was.
Everyone round here may feel free to use it at his OFF desctop.
Have fun; Olham

Get on, Gousgounis;
it's learning by doing. Choose a dramatic sky (wheather: thunderheads, for example); then choose good-looking planes, and start a "Quick mission". Then press "pause" any time you think, it might be a great moment - like, when you're just firing at someone (you'll see the tracers!) - and go through the various views of the frozen moment. Take screenshots from various angles. And ready - you mustn't polish it up. I do that, because it's my job anyway (Graphic Designer), and I have the programmes. But a good shot often is just enough. Try some; and have fun. Olham

Thanks for the pic. Hope it's okay that I have put it in my WW1 aircraft screensaver folder. Just wanted to say I appreciate all your input on the forum, danke!
