Made it to Romania.. (LRBS)

It was an awesome flight, started it at 6am, local time (Eastern).

I had a tailwind for a bit and at some point had a 55 knot tailwind before it turned into a 10 knot headwind. :)
 
I made it.. :) Didn't think i was ever gonna leave Romania, they are soo nice to you there.. All the hospitality. :)

Anyway, here in Baghdad.. Anyone recommend a good restaurant??

It was foggy in Baghdad tonight.. I didn't see the runway until about 2 miles out.

Landed in OPGD no problem.. Was running low on fuel on landing though.

Interesting problem though, might need the committees ruling on this. I have a green duenna but the application never spit out a text file.. Please let me know if this is sufficient or do I have to refly this leg? The duenna spit out an error something about server cannot end flight or something along those lines.

22.50" Hg!!! nooooWay!!!!!
 
Will do this flight tomorrow, hopefully the pressure picks up.. I cant fly at that low a pressure..
 
Ya I found 65 knot winds around 11,000 feet, it was incredible.. :) I swear if ASA is still screwing up then that was a good screw up.. :)
 
Well here in Rangoon i am gonna park it for this event.. Real World obligations just kept getting in the way.. I was hoping to have it done for tongiht at midnight but not gonna happen... Between work, kids, housework and spending time with my wife, i didn't have much time to fly. Luckily i am taking time off for the RTW. :)

So here we bury my Spartan.. My cirrus broke down in Romainia, never to be heard from again. :(

Those are all important things but you forgot to mention one other - which is all the time you spent these last few weeks in developing and updating the event results spreadsheet. Thanks very much for that! :applause:
