Error on P3D startup

I get this error message popup when I start P3D. I click ok, and it goes away. Everything appears to be working ok, but how do I get rid of this message. Not sure, but think it happened
when I installed registered version of FSUIPC, but could be mistaken. NC

You could try to comment the fsupic - startup out of the dll.xml.
If the message disapperas, there's an issue with fsupic. Which version of p3d do you run? IIRR there was a problem with 2.3, initially. It has been solved with a new fsupic version.

Cheers,
Mark

Mark,

What do you mean "comment the fsuipc"? I was mistaken about everything working correctly, because FSUIPC does NOT load after that error message. My P3D version is the latest. NC

Edit the dll.xml file to temporarily stop the attempt to load FSUIPC and then see if the error message goes away. Simply change "False" to "True"...

Sorry, NC, that was s sloppy german-english comment of mine. As Bill said, disable it in the dll.xml.
The fsuipc version that works for me with p3d v2.3 is the v 4.9.3.6 (latest, I think).

Cheers,
Mark

Ok, a question...

If the FSUIPC a is the culprit, and I would need to uninstall/reinstall it, how can I install it to ONLY P3D?

Seems like I recall that if you have both, the installer does it for both sims automatically, and I am concerned that would screw up my FSX addons.

Chief, make sure that your version of FSUIPC is version 4.9.3.6. If not download this version then install.

All versions of FSUIPC are tested by Pete to work in both FSX and P3D. That should never be a problem for anyone. :applause:
