ETO and Firepower Install - confused

I installed cfs3 and ETO 1.2 and everything works well. I did not install Firepower before ETO 1.2. Do i need to start over and install Firepower before ETO 1.2.

:kilroy:Freddienet, I can't emphasize this enough. You can't put FirePower in ETO or ETO in FirePower. There will be major headaches.

Proper procedure:

1. Install vanilla CFS3 (fully updated (3.1 and 3.1a), unmodded), then run it and set configs.
2. Install CFS3 ETO Expansion 1.0, then run it and set configs.
3. Install CFS3 ETO Expansion Cumulative Update 1.20, the run it and set configs.

If you want FirePower, you need to do a separate CFS3 install for it, and you will need Martin Wright's multicfs3.exe to do it.

First, just make a copy of your CFS3 main game folder in the same directory as CFS3.

If you install ETO on your machine before attempting FP, you can copy the multicfs3.exe from the ETO main game folder into your original CFS3 main game folder. Then run it and rename this install to reflect FirePower. After you have done this, rename the main game folder to ID it as FirePower.

All you have to do now is rename your copied CFS3 main game folder to Combat Flight Simulator 3.

You can now copy the four required folders from your new FP install into ETO, then install the ETO FirePower USAF HeavyBombers2 into your ETO install.:d
