ETO Bad intelligence?

So I was playing ETO today and decided I would try an American Campaign. Every thing worked fine when I was flying as a German. But My first mission in I realized that the "Targets" I was supposed to attack are all friendly.

Every single time I play It shows as a Purple target on my radar but It is a "Blue" allied unit and I, nor my wingmen, can attack it. So I end up failing the mission. Sometimes there isnt even a target there just nothing.

Sometimes ill take off from my airbase look behind me and see an "enemy" possition in our allied zone and Visa Versa.

I am Now updateing to V1.20 but will this fix the problems?

As of right now all i can say is,
Great job Army Aircorps Intelligence we succeded at bombing our own Ammo Depot

If you were in British Forces, you'd have got used to being attacked by the USAF by now...

Aceaviator91, the proper operation of campaigns in ETO is thus:

1. Choose the Era in which you wish to fly a campaign.

Note: The Attack in the West and Phoney War campaigns are for Era 1. There are presently no campaigns for Era 2. Allied and Axis ETO campaigns are for Eras 3, 4, & 5.

2. Use the Spawn Selector to set the spawns for the campaign.

Note: If you're intending to play Allied, select Allied Side, and if you're intending to play Axis, then select Axis Side.

Note: Spawn Selector selection 2, Random Spawn Disable, is for individual missions.

3. Start ETO in the Era in which you wish to fly the campaign.

Note: See the Note for Step 1, above.

hmmmmmm

I guess that would fit right in with the later phrase that grew out of VietNam. "Kill em all and let God sort it out."
