ETO bases name

stockplane

Charter Member
I have assembly MTO and ETO installation with interesting work of Rami.

I have notice that in the list of the bases some appears with (*) mark before the proper name other with the indication
of the related country ( for example UK or England ).

Is possible change these name so to have all airbases of a specific country with the identical prefix, in the airbase.dat the (*) mark not appears so i presume will be in GLS file.

Thanks for any informations.

Regards.

Stockplane,

The airfields marked with an (*) are from the first real CFS2 airfield add-on package...the CFS2 Battle of Britain airfields by Gary Burns. There is another by Davmag called Oldenburg, in Germany. All are on the original list of CFS1 airfields in the stock airbase.dat file.

As far as the way the airfields show up in mission builder, the only way to make them uniform would require an edit of the airfield.bgl files for each airfield which doesn't fit the naming pattern you desire.

Most of Achim's ETO work falls into the following pattern...

UK - England
NO - Norway
DK - Denmark
FR - France
GE - Germany
SWE - Sween
CT - Switzerland
BE - Belgium
NL - Netherlands
