ETO ERA 3 Campaign Missing Airbase

ETO ERA 3 Campaign would not load because of "Unrecognized Airbase 'horhf83'". How do you fix this? Where are the airbases in ETO? Which folder? :ques:

Have searched the eras and it refers to 'Horsham St faith'. In era 3 the airfield has evolved into a USAAF base horhAAF123. Try substituting that into the campaign xml.

Unable to find "horhf83" in campaign file

Pat,
I did a SEARCH in the Campaign file and was unable to find "horhf83". The 1943 campaign file is a big one, 54.5kb.

Could you not start the campaign at all or did it stop part way through? I just fired up ETO and started the '43 campaign with no problems.

Mind you they're all a bit of a mystery to me still, maybe Daiwilletti has some thoughts on it?

Had a look at , it my version of the 1943 campain doe not require either of the airbases and it works fine.

Pat,
The ETO ERA 3 Campaign would not start. The Error Message said "Unrecognized Airbase "horhf83". How do I delete this airbase from the campaign xml file? I could not find the airbases in the campaign xml file.

Hi All,

The only place I can find a referance to the horhf83 airbase is in the BoB QC location..xml file. It maybe that the last base you flew a QC location from was the horhf83 airbase, which means its saved in the uisel.xml file in your ETO folder inside the application data folder.

when starting the campaign I believe it looks to the uisel.xml for your last airbase used. becuase the horhf83 airbase is not included in the 1943 campaign the game cant find the base being called for by the uisel.xml file in the application data folder to start your flight from.

if you go to the ETO folder inside your application data folder and delete the uisel.xml file the next time the game starts its will build a new file and place you at fowlmere. If my line of thinking is correct, you should then be able to start the campiagn.

THANK YOU Rob, Gosd & Pat: Deleting the ETO uisel.xml file fixed the problem. The Campaign loaded and flew normally.
