• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

ETO Mission builder Icon

highpockets

SOH-CM-2025
I installed all versions of ETO and it works, but I do not see a MB icon. I have not been brave enough or have enough time yet to try mission building in CFS2 or CFS 3 but wanted to be able to just in case.

CFS3 root, you should see a shortcut to the MB, if you have the MB installed that is. It comes as an addon from the MS support site.

If you try to shortcut directly to the MB.exe in the MB folder, it won't work.

If you installed MAW, ETO, etc BEFORE installing the MB into your vanilla install, then install the Mission Builder into the vanilla version anyway, then copy-paste the new MB folder into your MAW/ETO install, and copy-paste the shortcut from CFS3 root into MAW/ETO root. You'll need to alter the properties lines in the shortcut to target the right mission builder - BE VERY CAREFUL not to change the end tags in the "Target" and "Start in" lines. To create a desktop shortcut, sent the shortcut in CFS root to the desktop, not MB.exe.
