'Rase-Mottes_E1w' and 'Hindenburg' missions. When I press "FLY" the game freezes; it does not happen in any other mission that I have flown so far. I have flown the airplanes included in these missions in QC and
they fly OK. i have checked the missions in notepad and everything needed seems to be there. Anything wrong with this missions that you know off or is there something I am not doing right?

Any help is appreciated

Both missions were tested before uploading and worked correctly then. I'd bet on a corrupted mission file when downloading.
Try to verify those xml files using the mission builder, checking for all the necessary planes and spawns, etc. If it does not fix it, try to D/L again. Don't know what else to tell you.

PS: Be completely sure to follow the rules of installing things in ETO Exp. (Open the game in Era1, exit the game and paste the missions into the mission folder). If you'll check the missions using the mission builder do the same procedure before opening it.

I have also found that simply opening and saving the file in the mission builder often gets missions with this problem to work for me. Not sure why, but it works!

Give it a try. Hope it helps.

Thanks guys

I re-installed ETO and one of the missions worked. I am trying Hindenburg and see what happens. I do not know if this has anything to do with it but I get "Runtime error R6025 -pure virtual function call". I will try what you both suggested and see what happens

Thanks again

If it's any consolation, I'm unable to get the Hindenburg mission to work either.

The initial problem seemed to have something to do with the Spanish T26 tank you're asked to retrieve from Reg's having the same XPD short name as one of the other T26 tanks already installed as a part of the ETO package.

After making a change to resolve that, the mission would load to the briefing, but would CTD after pressing the "Fly" button.

Anyone else having problems with that mission?

Probably something to do with the Hindenburg model. PM me with your e-mail

address and we'll search a way out of this.

Hindenburg freezes

Hello Guys:
:gossip:
I try to play the mission "Hindenburg" and let it freeze again. I waited looking at it in frustration for a period of time until a 'warning' came up.
I read something like this:

Invalid at the top level of the document ....on line 1, position 1 in" ".

Maybe it is a corrupted file; This could be the problem. Went into MB, opened it, reloaded with a different name "Hindenburg Surprise at Saragoza". The mission played with no problems. But, I have to say;
it is not an easy one to fly. Those German and/or Spanish pilots are apparently very good.
I am going to wait for a couple of days and play it again to see if it still works
