ETO Screenshots wanted!

Hi all,

It seems to me that cfs3 is very much undervalued as a flight sim going by what I read on other forums. People are writing it off without any knowledge of all the good things that have been made for it in the last few years.

So I'm going to put together a short write-up about the ETO project to submit to a few flight-sim websites. It would be nice to include a few screenies so if anyone has anything which shows off the ETO installs features it would be much appreciated A good video may be useful too if anyone has one?

Or if anyone has any ideas on how to promote our favourite sim please shout up! :woot:

Flyer01 - anything will do, as long as it's from the ETO install.
The new scenery, weather, aircraft, effects, vehicles, airfields etc etc.
Not necessarly action shots either.

its a shame that people have written it off.Most have probally never searched for addons etc for cfs3 and probally dont know how much work has been done and not realize just how much they are missing.The first flight sim i ever tried was just flight simulator and to me that just wasnt enough because i wanted a combat flight sim.SOH was one of the results i got when i did a search and SOH is the reason i found CFS3 and have never regretted it since.If they only knew what they are missing theyd kick themselves

That first screenie of that Chain Home site is amazing, Pachi!! Almost FSX quality! Beautiful lighting!!

Pachi, they are really, really good. As Frosty says that first one of the radar site is a beauty, will be using these for sure.

No, there isn't. It is a new cockpit model for one of the earlier Spits that Pat has made ready for ETO, I believe. Though he should add it to much more fighter aircraft. It looks so damn good!

Oh, and I'd like one too, Pachi!

The cockpit figure is by Ross (Zig_Zag), it's brillant isn't it! So all credit to him. :woot:

Rob Stevenson tweaked the textures and sorted the files to get it into the aircraft, all I did was to add a bit of detail to the cockpit.

Being able to see your arms & legs adds so much to the immersion factor.
Ross has very kindly donated to us the source model so maybe we can get it into other aircraft too.
