I installed all of Ettico's eurotargets properly by the readme, and the 3D objects are not showing up, just the picture on the ground, I have activated it and set scenery density to full, Has anyone else had this problem?
Thanks,

Jack

Hi Jack,

No error messages? "Object not found" messages indicate that you don't have the called-for object in your object library.

Other than that, the objects not showing up can only mean you haven't gotten the objects properly installed in your Global Scenery Layer (GSL). The GSL is a list of objects and their locations that tells CFS2 to always render the listed objects. The list is in the CFS2/GSL folder, named "cfs2.gsl". There is a developer's tool called "GSLman" by Martin Wright that can add objects to the list or remove objects from the list. Everyone includes "GSLman" with the GSL scenery they upload. You put the downloaded GSL files and GSLman in your CFS2/GSL folder and click on the GSLman icon. Then you select the GSL files you want to add, and click on the "Add to GSL" button.

All of which you may already know, but if the object aren't showing up, they haven't been added to the "cfs2.gsl" file for whatever reason.

The reason for all this is that destroyable objects can't be put into a scenery BGL. Destroyable objects can only reside in a mission file or in the Global Scenery Layer.
