I'm having some elevator flutter when the Beau goes near 270 Kts and have augered in a few times. Anyone else having this drama? :help: I really love these planes Biz, thank you"

Howdy Gents;

I've been trying to reproduce this flutter and have not been able to find a combination of speed in the 270knt area (+/- 20 knots) that makes it happen. Could you please give me some details on the Payload, Flight Model Realism, altitude range, etc...

Pen, For me this happens in a shallow diving attack with both clean and bombed up Mk.1C and Mk.21 Beaus. I replaced the airfile for the player aircraft with ones Crazy did for Colin Muir's Beaus a few years ago. This eliminated the prob. I'm flying 100% realism setting.
cheers,
Mike

For what it's worth, Bis's Mark 1C has been flying fine for me. Same realism settings. Lots of strafing runs coming up to and going thru 270 knts.....all Ok. Just a thought, what is your wind and wind shear set at? Ive flown this bird with 0 speed up to 40 mph crosswinds (sometimes a crosswind comes in handy for strafing) with nothing unexpected in the FM, given the fact that wind could give unusuall flying if you sometimes forget it is set that way in a mission or FF. Not that I have ever done that...yeah, right. :icon_lol:
