the evergreen 747 is based at McCellan airport in sacramento..yesterday it flew from sac to LA and made two drops..and returned..channel 31 is now getting ready to do a live report on the plane..weeeeeeeee
 
I caught a glimpse of the news yesterday and it showed one of the Martin Mars flying boats dropping water on the fire.
